Senior B Football Championship
Who will this weekend semi-finals and why. My penny's worth is that Raheen will beat Durrow, as Durrow have a real difficulty winning semi-finals. There is a lot of talk in Durrow that without Brian Geraghty they have no midfield and that this will cost them. In the other semi-final I think Tubber w...

Re: U21 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
I see Durrow failed to field a team for the U21 Championship game against Tullamore this morning. I understand that they only entered a Team to prevent a few lads getting permission to play with Tullamore. Is this not cutting off your nose to spite your face. So now no one in Durrow or Ballinamere w...

Re: offaly minor footballers
Very year we hear of all the players that should be on both the Offaly hurling and football teams. (Minor, U21 and Senior). A player that wont committ is as usefull as an ashtray on a motorbike no matter how good he thinks he is. If you get an opportunity to play for your county one should grasp it ...

Re: offaly minor footballers

Re: offaly minor footballers
Sorry my last post was in reply to Jimbob 17. You are correct that 3 Tullamore players started against Kildare. K. Hogan, D McDonagh and A Shelly and K Byrne came on as a sub. In addition O Cusack and A Geoghegan also started and both of them played minor with Tullamore last year.

Re: Pat Teehan's legacy
Its very easy blame the Chairman. Everybody should take a critical look at what they did or did not do over the last five years. The Chairman is but one person and everything he wants to do must be approved by the County Board (which is the Clubs).

Re: New club managers and first club back training
Durrow back since 4th January under Thomas McDonnell. In excess of 40 (Durrow and Ballinamere training together) out training most nights but I did notice only 25 last Tuesday. Novelty of new manager may be wearing off or lads are finding training quite hard.
