It will be interesting to see what direction the development takes under a new chairman. Hurling Championship
Did ye know format of hurling championship has been changed? Three teams each from Groups 1 and 2 and two teams from Group 3 to play quarter finals.
Bit strange to be adding more games, considering the difficulties they've had fitting in the games as it was.

Joe Dooley's name also being bandied about.
They wanted Mcintyre to take U-21 and senior, or at the very least have some kind of common link between the two outfits, so Pilkington would fit that requirement (assuming he's staying with the 21's?).

Hurling Matches in O'Connor Park
All I know is someone asked at County Board meeting about county finals moving to Tullamore and the response was that there was no question of that happening. I assume same applies to League Games, but maybe that's too big an assumption!
