Re: SHC Draws
One thing that hasn't quite been cleared up here - this is a lot of extra games, which is fair enough. I wouldn't be a senior club player or the colour of it myself, but lads want meaningful games and this seems to be providing them, so fair play. However we're going to play all these games in the ...

Re: SHC Draws

Re: SHC Draws
Just a few points on the criticism of the new system. It's been talked about by some as if this was something pulled out of the sky and forced on clubs. This structure was put forward from the clubs and voted for by the clubs. If there are issues with it, then the first port of call to complain is t...

Re: Structure of county hurling leagues
There were no semi finals.
Apparently some of those results are incorrect and Ballinamere had a draw somewhere along the lines that put them one point ahead of Ballyskenagh.
Definitely some of the scores are incorrect, although score difference wasn't relevant anyhow.

This is in progress at the moment.
As for defeating the change last year, I think most people there on the night in question were willing to change, but didnt' like the options that were in front of them.

Re: UP SKENAGH !!!!!!!!!!
Well done Ballyskenagh, it's good to see a small rural hurling club doing well. Just for pig-iron, can someone please confirm that the club's name is spelt with a 'g', and not a 'c'? Even within the club you'll find it hard to get agreement on the "g" or the "c" POTH. Irish spea...

Foiled again. If only the tie-breakers had been more hurling-related *sigh*
But hey, after the weekend we've had, I'm not complaining

Re: Leinster Hurling Championship
All the counties in the country can vote for or against it, but Leinster council will have the final say - though it's unlikely they'd over-ride a majority decision.
