Tickets

328 uncovered were the best they had in Leinster Council today (don't know about upper decks). 328 is okay, but they claimed the best tickets had gone to the County Boards. It's the one thing I hate about championship - getting tickets for people 'cos invariably someone doesn't like what they get. I...

Does anyone have contact information for the Offaly County Board? I'd like to get the 'official' view of the situation - which I'd be happy to report back on...

Really a Leinster problem though - they know before they make the fixtures when the qualifiers will be.

So you reckon Brendan Murphy will be off the scene by the time he's 29, but Donal Franks is going to make a come back in his late 30's? :)

Re: The Treasurer weekend

Letting in six goals though???? I take it that was a freak result, I sure hope so! Wasn't there myself after all, they changed the time to 5 pm (shows how much interest there is in football around these parts!), so I spent the morning having a Club v County debate with myself, left late and missed ...

First the Pope dies, now the Messiah of Offaly hurling, the chosen one has retired!
We have a new Pope and god may not be retired just yet - perhaps not such a bad day for the faithful after all!

Academy

CCR

Wasn't at the game, so don't know much about it other than CCR were very disappointed, as they felt they had a very decent side this year. There are a few people there putting in great work against competition from the no. 1 sport in ...
