Ok when I said I couldn't find the start time, I kinda meant I hadn't looked to hard when some of ye would answer. But in a more distrubing development I notice that in the previous post I wrote "kicking off". Shameful behaviour and my only defence is that I was probably drunk. Apologies t...

In basic terms the apology was for having questioned "the commitment of Sigerson footballers as a means of explaining why the Sigerson competition is not a crowd puller." Rightly there was direct reference to line stating: "Conor Mortimer will not give every ounce of his energy to DCU...

I've attached a link to an article from the DCU newspaper written by a friend for which she later had to publish an apology. Ye might find it interesting. Basically after a recent game Queen's accused DCU of trying to buy the sigerson cup by offering scholarships to big name county players. Could th...

I think after two long lists courtesy of 'my knee hurts' it should be remember that he once acquired the nickname FEZ after the guy in That 70s Show.

Ok I've been refraining from replying to this topic for a while now but the urge has come upon me. Take about taking the piss... Keenie has been trying to get me to do an "exclusive" interview with him for months now and I get the feeling he may have got bored waiting and decided to create...

Wonder how the off the ball scuffles will work out and if we can customise our own referees. Now that would be interesting. If not I wonder what the standard of referees will be like. Will they be forced to keep time or will it be done electronically.. Really can't wait + hope they get started on a ...

What a game! Through all the year's that I've football matches I've seen any team play cat and mouse with Kerry (even at their lower points) in the way Tyrone did on Sunday. I was genuinely delighted for Tyrone because to be honest winner the final meant so much more to them than it would have to Ke...

I think the senior should go to Alan McNamee. He quietly enough did a great job all summer and when it came to the final he really stood out. Had Clara been better this year John Reynolds would also be in the running but when the rest of your team is lacking its hard to shine to your true potenial. ...

Really don't think Doon are as bad as the past 12 months suggest + won't be surprised if Ferbane struggled to top the group. However at the moment they have to be favourites. Rynagh's weren't hugely inpressive in the intermediate decider although the weather conditions were awaful. As for riot polic...

I can't believe 'Trib' saying the final was uninspiring and an anti-climax. [/quote] Ok maybe I was being a bit harsh with the 'anti-climax' bit but to be honest the hill certainly seemed to find the game uninspiring. With both sets of supporters being confined to one side of the pitch, Shamrocks vy...

Have to say the county final proved a rather uninspiring affair. I expected a good atmosphere as a result of both sets of supporters being on the hill but it never transpired. The game itself was a bit of an anti-climax to mostly predictable season. Thankfully Rhode's early goal didn't set them on t...

Was at the clara v brigid's game. In a nutshell Clara threw it away. They had by far the more posession in the first half but did nothing with it and paid the price. Brigid's had two really ood periods either side of half time and that won the game for them. Clara will have to stop relying on John R...
