As someone else said, if you drive past a school in the county- primary or secondary, what are the chances that the kids will be out playing hurling (or football) at lunch

more coaching time from the CB needs to be given into the secondary schools to get players out to train either after school or during lunchtimes and get teams together any teachers willing to be involved need to be looked after - gear, equipment, and maybe a voucher for a dinner or something. the hurling wall is very badly designed in my opinion
needed a higher wall and a longer area out from the wall

it basically means the boards in football dominated counties will have a say on the spending of hurling development money

and hurling dominated counties tend to, or want to forget about football - Kilkenny, Tipp

a window for more U20 club games within the county would be more sensible. too much training at every age, not enough games Meath recently changed their underage structures that most children at under 14 and Under 12 will be playing a game of football and hurling every week, with a separate section ...

Listen, there are some excellent young players in Offaly at U12, U14 and U16 levels.

the difference is what happens in Offaly to those players to development them and improve them and what happens in most other tier 1 hurling counties.

Get lads fit, be organised, improve the skill level and decide on a method of playing based on the players available the same as every club side in the country there is no 'offaly style'. it was based on a particular set of players that were around at that time.
