They a...

Re: Direction?

Stop giving out about schools and teachers things have changed hugely. teachers are under huge pressure with multiple subjects, paperwork, misbehaving pupils and demanding parents/principals! clubs have to support the teachers who give their time to the gaa in schools Give them a club top or other o...

Re: Faithful Fields

the hurling wall is very badly designed in my opinion
needed a higher wall and a longer area out from the wall
for some reason there is a building plonked almost in the middle of the astro area

Re: Development Squads Deserve Respect and a Profile

a window for more U20 club games within the county would be more sensible. too much training at every age, not enough games Meath recently changed their underage structures that most children at under 14 and Under 12 will be playing a game of football and hurling every week, with a separate section ...

Re: Offaly U14 Hurlers Skillful,Determined and Tough

the difference is what happens in Offaly to those players to development them and improve them and what happens in most other tier 1 hurling counties.

Re: Offaly GAA - in Crisis

Get lads fit, be organised, improve the skill level and decide on a method of playing based on the players available the same as every club side in the country there is no 'offaly style'. it was based on a particular set of players that were around at that time. Its time to move on. There are counti...

Re: Hurling development squads [Split from Walsh Cup]

lets hope the shiny new training fields covers up the fact that a lot of clubs are not doing enough coaching or developing of all players
go to any under 12 or U10 game and 1/2 players dominate with pitches being very narrow and full solo allowed at U12
