Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024

I’d say zero chance of it being moved at this stage. Regards crowd. Offaly brought circa 15000 to portlaois - I’d say max 20k would cover us for the final and leaves 7k for Tipp. Hopefully everyone gets sorted. The only thing that will annoy people is if they have to pay full price for kids/u16. No...

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024

Just sharing my story from last years u20 final: 1 / 1 The ‘trip to Tipp’ Now that the dust has settled, we can take a breath and recap on what really was a magical journey with this magical team. All week, talk was consumed with ‘what time will we leave at, what will parking be like, have we jersey...

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024

Cork can only blame themselves. Too many wides. Ok they should have been awarded a goal as Tipp goalie caught ball and somehow fumbled into the top of the net but bad mistake from cork defence to gift Tipp their goal.

Anyhoots it’s Tipp and we’ll see how that plays out………

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024

Add in v dublin we passed the ball ridiculously long across our back line when there was no need causing one goal , and then running into traffic instead of releasing the ball in the back line right in front of goal caused the second, If it wasn't for those 2 simple goals dublin would have never go...

Would never put up a flag for a Leinster final and we have a big job to do tomorrow evening before we even think about an All Ireland final.

Re: Offaly Under 20s hurling 2024

No, it was just under 5,000 paid in. It's harder to tell with U-16s so there was an element of guesswork about the 8,000 number, I understand. Do you mean there was only 8000 in total at the KK game last week - 5000 adults and 3000 u16’s????? I’d say in the region of 12-14000 all in last week. Both...

They don’t factor in the u16’ s so always difficult to say but I’d say 15k all in maybe 🤔

O’Connor park has 18k capacity - supposedly only 8000 last week. Hard to where the other 10k would have fitted.
