After the dodgy burger I got in Doon last week, I would have to vote against Trailermacs.
It near killed me.

Offaly footballers - Starting 15 for championship

As I suggested in another thread, we should each start a thread and maintain our favoured line-up for championship. Frequent modifications are to be expected. At the moment mine would be: 1 Colin McNamamamamara 2 Shane Sullivan 3 Conor Evans 4 Ger Rafferty 5 Barry Mooney 6 Scott Brady 7 Karol Slatte...

Very comprehensive review. Of course at this time of year it can be hard to judge who's unavailable/injured/not interested/on the beer etc but it looks a fair assessment of the present panel. What we should all do from now until championship is start a topic each, post up our own starting 15 and upd...

Worst Christmas gifts

You'd have the usual suspects; socks, soap on a rope, Old Spice etc.
This year we have a new entry.

Some poor unfortunates around Moate, Kilbeggan and Athlone got these pyjamas as Christmas gifts:

League matches on TG4

In today's Belfast Telegraph
--

"The Donegal v Tyrone game will, of course, have considerable appeal for Ulster fans and the deferred screening of the Offaly v Westmeath clash will also whet appetites."

Meaning we can watch out for ourselves on telly in the pub after!

O'Byrne cup vs. Leix

On Sunday January 2nd. A good chance to stretch the legs after the Christmas.
Any ideas what the venue will be?

What about the scoreboard?
Will there be three columns on it?

Will the sports results be read out like:
Offaly 5-2-17
Westmeath 1-1-6

I'm with Doon Massive on this one. We want the wristy flicks of yore...AND we also want to see timber dispensed. I'm never one to to have unrealistic expectations...but Regan will deliver all of this! Lone Shark... "Whose side are you on, son?" "Our side, sir." "MARINE!"...

The Joe Dooley video needed about 30 or 40 minutes of it left on the cutting room floor.
The introductions, music and long walks to the stage got tedious very quickly.

Skeletor Loughnane being on it was good though.

Nearest thing there is would be the Setanta review of Offaly's 1998 All Ireland winning campaign.
The Joe Dooley "This is your life" video would be somewhat relevent too.

I think Daithi Regan is just the man we're looking for. We lack steel at the moment. Back in the 90s we had the likes of Hanamy, Rigney, Martin, Duignan and Regan who could use timber effectively if an opponent tried to intimidate them. If Regan can harden up our squad, we'll become a team that comm...
