I think the usual rules don't really apply when it comes to goalkeepers, seeing as more than anywhere else on the pitch, confidence is vital. I'd prefer for McNamara to have felt secure in his position than to give Padraig Kelly - a keeper we already know all about, both the good and the bad - anot...

It's pointless trying to judge form, but seeing Wastemeath (who we drew with) getting hammered by Leix is not a good omen.

It's probably a bit early to worry about our half-forward line. If we get both Hanniffy's and Brendan Murphy back, we should be sorted.
